UFC’s new British superstar Darren Till lived up to the hype this past weekend fighting in his hometown beating the #1 ranked welterweight in the world, Stephen Thompson.

After the event, Till asked for a fight with Kamaru Usman or Jorge Masvidal next.

Yesterday Till called into the MMA Hour podcast with Ariel Helwani where he doubled down on his Jorge Masvidal call out. (See Video Above)

We spoke to Masvidal yesterday about the fight and here’s what he had to say:

Southland: Did you watch the Wonderboy vs. Till fight and how did you score it?

Masvidal: Yea it was a close fight, could of gone either way.

Southland: Till called you out twice after the fight and I know you guys tried to make it happen before…

Masvidal: Yea I saw that, I called the UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby and he told me NO. I think they have other plans for him. Me an Till both want the fight but UFC ain’t having it.

Meanwhile Masvidal is moving past Neil Magny who he was suppose to face last weekend but he has turned down a fight with him on 3 separate occasions, he now has his eyes set on Kamaru Usman:

Masvidal: I also asked for the Excuseman fight… Again.  Guess what? Excusman’s management turned down the fight. After all that talk about being ducked.
